Kristin Mathews, RN, BSN

Kristin grew up in Arizona and attended Saguaro High School in Scottsdale.  She obtained her BSN from Arizona State University in December 1990.  Kristin has experience in oncology and medical/surgical nursing, and she continues to work at Scottsdale Healthcare Shea in the Oncology Department on a part-time basis.     

Kristin has a passion for charitable work and currently sits on the Board of Directors of Healing the Children, Arizona Chapter; a non-profit organization dedicated to obtaining urgently needed medical care for children from abroad and in Arizona.  She is also a host for this organization and has cared for many children from Honduras, Ecuador, and Vietnam who came to the United States for medical care.  Additionally, she has participated in medical mission trips in numerous countries around the world through Health Volunteers Overseas.  In her spare time, she enjoys sailing and watching her boys play sports.
